Tom Brady did everything possible to win the hearts of NFL fans during his prolonged career. From pushing a below-average team to be a Super Bowl contender, TB12 didn’t leave any stone unturned to convey his effort to the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Besides having the titles and accolades of 15-time Pro-Bowl selection, three-time 1st-Team All-Pro selected as well as three-time AP MVP, Brady used to rule hearts on the field. Nevertheless, the legendary quarterback also had some haters like other players, and once he had to digest some rude comments about him when he almost lost his temper.
Tom Brady reacted to “mean” fans
Back in 2021, Brady made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday night and read some mean tweets sent by the fan. The 46-year-old veteran tried to remain poised in most of the segment and forcefully smiled even after reading some very mean comments about him.
A tweet read, “Hi. I’m Tom Brady and I am a cry baby and I have a b**thole in my chin.”
TB12 didn’t have anything to say rather than exclaiming pointing to his chin.
Another tweet read,” f**k Tom Brady you fat bitch I hope you cry.”
He just smiled, saying,” I do cry too.”
Among those one tweet was about the three-time NFL MVPs former wife Gisele Bundchen that read, “Fu** you Tom Brady I hope this loss depresses you so bad that you can hardly have sex with your supermodel wife in your giant mansion.”
He totally dodged the comment saying, “I have no comment on that.”
However, Tom couldn’t control his temper after hearing a particular tweet about his dog that read, “F**k you Tom Brady I hope your dog eats chocolate and gets really sick and throws up on your socks.”
Wishing so bad for one’s pet is really brutal and hence, the signal-caller’s response was expected as he said, “That’s f**ked up”.
Brady’s social media influence amassed 27 million followers
Tom Terrific is now out of the field following his second-time retirement from the NFL in February this year, albeit fans didn’t stop following their favorite quarterback’s activity on social media. Brady’s social media hit 27 million followers recently, including 5 million on Facebook, 4.8 million on Tiktok, 3 million on Twitter, and 14 million on Instagram.
This might not be quite surprising given the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s huge popularity in American football. Before retirement, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey became the biggest seller in the league for the back-to-back year
Even now, Brady is staying connected to the sports ground by consecutively investing in sports clubs including Las Vegas Aces and the Birmingham F.C. The retired football star’s unwavering commitment and dedication to sports as a whole highlight why he is regarded as the undisputed NFL GOAT.
