A vintage video has surfaced showing former UFC champions Khabib Nurmagomedov and former UFC fighter Rustam Khabilov play the UFC video game in a playful manner. From the looks of it, Nurmagomedov and Khabilov appeared like teenagers.
The clip showcased the lighter side of these fierce fighters, especially considering that Nurmagomedov is known for being a hard-nosed and strict MMA personality. His coaching style draws comparisons to that of his late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

The footage of the two fighters playing the video game provided a rare look into the personal dynamics between fighters who look like family. The camaraderie displayed in the video has endeared fans.
The relatable interaction has prompted fans to praise the relatability of the moment. In the video, it appeared that Nurmagomedov was gaining the upper hand over Khabilov. From their conversation, it seemed like one of them was playing as the character Tito Ortiz. The setting was in an old house, and the game was played on a CRT TV.

The video also shows the humble beginning of the now-rich undefeated retired UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabilov too had a good run in the UFC. At one point, Khabilov had a 6-fight win streak in the UFC’s lightweight division.
Khabib was recently interviewed by Patrick Bet-David, where he discussed his children playing games on the phone. “The Eagle” was of the opinion that it was not a good practice and should only be done for short periods of time.
Fans bash UFC for awful game mechanics
The recently introduced UFC 5 video game has recently faced criticism from fans. They took social media to express their discontent with the latest iteration’s gameplay mechanics. Complaints range from unrealistic movements to visual deficiency.
Now with the video of Khabib Nurmagomedov playing an older iteration of the game, fans are trolling the latest iteration as being inferior to the older versions. However, that did not stop the netizens from bashing the promotion.
