The Kansas City Chiefs were up against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night in a game that was held in Frankfurt, Germany, in an attempt by the NFL to increase their presence worldwide. While the Chiefs romped home, Taylor Swift and her posse of NFL wives enjoyed a nice meal at Bond St. Restaurant in Manhattan.
Among those in attendance were other personalities like Selena Gomez, Cara Delevigne, and Brittany Mahomes with whom she had a rumored feud. The group was seen exiting the restaurant in a story shared by the venue itself.
Chiefs secure victory against Dolphins in Frankfurt
The high-flying Kansas City Chiefs made light work out of the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt. As usual, the team looked cohesive on offensive plays and rock-solid on the defensive end of things. In what comes as a surprise, Patrick Mahomes, who swapped jerseys with soccer start Antoine Griezmann, had a relatively quiet evening, throwing for a season-low 185 yards on his international debut. However, even his below-par performance was enough to secure the victory against Tua Tagovailoa’s side.
After the game, Mahomes spoke on his performance: “Obviously, penalties and then me not connecting on guys deep down the field hurt us, but luckily for us our defense is playing their tail off and we got the win.”
Even star WR Travis Kelce had only three catches for 14 yards, but that was enough to make him the franchise’s career leader in receiving yards. It has to be said that ever since the 33-year-old started going out with Taylor Swift, his skills have taken a turn for the better.
Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa also spoke on his team’s dismal show in the post-game press conference. He said, “I’m always going to blame myself — I’ve got to catch the ball. Can’t end the game like that when we have an opportunity like that against a really good team.”
The Kansas City Chiefs will be up against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 21, after their bye week. As for the Dolphins, they will face off against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 19, giving them enough time to analyze this loss and learn from their mistakes.
