The feud between Chael Sonnen and Masvidal has been escalating after Masvidal’s appearance on the MMA Hour after his acquittal in the lawsuit filed by Colby Covington. Masvidal’s counterattack was equally fierce as he hit back, labeling Sonnen a “juice head” in reference to Sonnen’s admission of using PEDs in the past. It needs to be noted that Masvidal was best friends with Colby Covington before the pair split. This resulted in heated animosity and a clash in the main event of UFC 272. Covington won the bout, but after the bout Masvidal allegedly attacked Covington on the streets which resulted in Covington filing a lawsuit against his assailant. This was the lawsuit from which he was recently acquitted and led to ChaelSonnen responding to his comments.
