NFL fans demand FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw to quit after his poor performance in Bengals-Texans game

After ruling the NFL world for 14 seasons with more than 10 career playoff starts, Terry Bradshaw’s era in the football field was put to an end before Tom Brady’s era began. Soon after that, the former MVP opened a new chapter in his life as an analyst for FOX Sports to scatter his football IQ among the NFL community.

Along with his footing, the aged footballer perhaps has been lacking his memorizing power, leading him to make a serious mistake and become a target of the football fans.

Terry Bradshaw butchered the name of the Texans’ star

The Houston Texans and the Cincinnati Bengals headed to battle in their Week 10 matchup. While on the field, the Bengals committed some serious mistakes that led them to digest a close 27-30 loss to the Texans. Off the field Terry Bradshaw took the responsibilities from the Bengals player to assume the criticism of the NFL fans.

During Sunday’s halftime show on FOX, he mentioned the Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Tank Dell as “Tank Bell.”

Such a mistake from a 75-year-old is acceptable, but not from someone who is placed in the chair an analyst. While his simple mistake was turning his cool chair into a hot seat, Dell on the field ended up accumulating 56 yards, 6 receptions, and one touchdown.

Nevertheless, even though he might not be the best analyst, Terry was a superman on the field and the only starting quarterback to win two consecutive Super Bowls for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team, whose player recently handed a shot at the NFL refs. Not only was he the first quarterback to win four Super Bowls, but he also became the first MVP of the Super Bowl twice, per CBS Sports.

NFL fans demand Terry Bradshaw to resign from FOX analyst role

The former player has been with the broadcasting channel since its inception in 1994, for 26 consecutive years. After retiring from play, he proved his excellence in football which honored him with three Sports Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Sports Personality/Analyst category in 1999, 2001, and 2008.

Either one claim it as a slip of the tongue or a shortage in his memorizing power, NFL fans demand for his resignation.

“My god who let’s Terry Bradshaw speak on these halftime shows?”, said one fan’s indirect demand for Bradshaw’s resignation.

“Time to retire Terry,” one fan made Terry recall that at this age, he should stop appearing as an analyst and save his face and the fame that he gathered in these years.

While the fans did not shy of making trolls, one considerate fan came forward in support of the analyst. In response, she let them clip their mouth, mentioning the mistake as nothing to be hyped.

“Half of the announcers in MLB can’t pronounce many of the Houston Astro’s names…after all this time. This blunder is barely big enough to be mentioned, much less to be made a big deal. It was a simple mistake.Get a life people, we are ALL human!”
