The popular American rapper and pop star DaBaby recently expressed his thoughts on LeBron James. He was invited by the NFL legend Shannon Sharpe on his show where they both talked about a lot of different things.
DaBaby also expressed his thoughts on LaMelo Ball naming him his best player under the age of 25. Baby listed out his best players in the NBA and surprised a lot of fans by leaving the great Michael Jordan out of his list.
DaBaby picks Team LeBron over Team MJ
DaBaby appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast “Club Shay Shay” where the popular rapper named the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James as his favorite player in the NBA. On being asked by Shannon if he is Team LeBron or Team MJ, Baby immediately responded with Bron’s name.
Sharpe asked, “Where are we at? We team Jordan or Team LeBron?” DaBaby didn’t have to think much about this one and immediately responded. He said, “Im Team Bron and I don’t really have to think twice about that.”
He further expressed his admiration and love for James and said that he would follow him in Russia if Bron decided to play there. DaBaby said, “I am going where he goes. If he goes to play in Russia, g**amn, I am trying to learn the language, you get what I am saying?”
The rapper further states that his love and admiration for Bron comes from being born in the same place. “Bron was from Ohio, I was originally born in Ohio. You know what I mean? Bron has always shown me love.”
DaBaby names top 5 NBA legends
During Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, DaBaby named the top five players he thinks are the best in the NBA right now. He straight away named LeBron James as his number one and then proceeded to contemplate further.
He said, “Top five NBA players for me, Oh man! I am a Bron fan first of all!” after expressing his love for LeBron James he proceeded to name the five players he thinks are the best in the league right now.
Baby said, “I always took a liking to Dame, Steph, how can you not! Draymond that’s my boy, you know what I’m saying I love a lot of things about Draymond, on and off the court… I’mma go with Giannis, I don’t got a personal relationship with Giannis, he’s straight forward he just tryna play ball… Kyrie too, I love what he represents.”
It was a tough call for DaBaby, and he named six players as his best: LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kyrie Irving.
