Now that the relationship is all but official, Travis Kelce’s friends and colleagues are commenting on their relationship, including a certain Patrick Mahomes, who talked about the global pop sensation and his new sweetheart.

When Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes talks highly of your relationship, you know you’re in it for the long run. In a recent interview with ESPN, the star QB talked about his colleague’s relationship with the global pop icon.
Talking about the two, he said, “People see the whole Taylor Swift and Travis and they make it a huge deal because it is a huge deal. I think it becomes a bigger deal to the fanbases than it does to the guys that are actually in the building.”

“I’ve been lucky enough to meet Taylor and see how good of a person she is,” he continued. “I think you understand why it’s not become a distraction or anything like that, because everybody cares about being the best they can be every day.”
Talking about his friend and teammate Travis Kelce, Mahomes said, “I honestly feel like he’s my brother. His family and my family have almost become one family because of the relationship that we have and how we’ve kind of became these brothers on the football field.”
He continued, “But off the football field as well, he doesn’t try to be this Travis Kelce, Saturday Night Live guy. He just wants to be the guy that comes to play football every single day, and I think that’s what makes him so special and why guys really gravitate towards him.”
Previously even head coach Andy Reid and voiced his approval of Kelce and Swift’s brewing romance. With Taylor Swift frequently attending Kelce’s games, the TE has also reciprocated the gesture by flying to her concert in Argentina.
Travis Kelce spends early Thanksgiving celebration with Patrick Mahomes
During the bye-week, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes spent a lot of time together. According to the Instagram stories posted by Mahomes’ wife Brittany, Travis Kelce also attended their early Thanksgiving dinner.
The house was decked up from head to toe with Thanksgiving decorations, and both Mahomes and Kelce were seen in complete festive attire. With Patrick’s framed jerseys hanging on the wall, a sweatered Kelce, in a red cap, appears to be seen having a drink and chitchatting with fellow mates.
Taylor Swift’s parents are expected to meet up with Travis Kelce’s parents during the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. However, Taylor Swift will not be in attendance due to her prior commitments with the South American leg of the Eras Tour.
