Travis reveals evening with Swift
Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” commenced its South America leg this month, with the first stop being in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first of these concerts was scheduled to be held last Friday but was pushed back due to the incessant rain in the capital city. Taylor’s management later issued an apology and postponed the concert to Sunday.
Among those eager to attend the global pop icon’s concert was her new beau, Travis Kelce. The NFL superstar had specifically flown to Argentina right after attending the charity Patrick and Brittany Mahomes hosted to attend Taylor’s concert. However, the postponed concert meant that Travis and Taylor got to spend the night together in their hotel room.
Talking about it, Travis said, “She wasn’t too happy about it. She kind of prides herself on performing through the weather and rain, but you gotta do what you gotta do. The only night we got to be together was the night the show got postponed. We didn’t wanna go out and have a blast throughout the city like we didn’t care about the show. So, we made sure we stayed in the hotel and kept to ourselves.”
Taylor Swift set to miss Travis Kelce’s game on Monday
The Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, are set to go up against each other on Monday night as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Philadelphia Eagles at the Arrowhead. This game is touted to be one of the best of the season as the high-flying Eagles look to take revenge for their Super Bowl 2023 defeat at the hands of the same opposition.
However, this game also carries special significance for Travis Kelce, as it will be the first time his and Taylor Swift’s parents meet. Both sets of parents are said to meet each other during the game. Taylor’s father, Scott, is a lifelong Eagles supporter and would surely be in the bleachers alongside Donna Kelce, mother of Jason and Travis.
Although the families will be present during the game, it is all but confirmed that Taylor Swift won’t be in attendance at the Arrowhead. This is due to her prior commitments with her world tour. The Eras Tour moves on to Brazil for the weekend and it won’t be possible for her to shuttle back and forth and still ensure a good concert for the Swifties.
