Luke has been out with a ‘muscle injury’ since the 2-0 defeat against Tottenham on August 19. He trained with the main group at Carrington this week and is poised to be available for selection again.

However, there are reports that he’ll make his return to football before the new year. New signing Reguillon has also been absent, forcing Erik Ten Hag to play the likes of Victor Lindelof and Sofyan Amrabat in those positions.
However, Premier League action is set to resume this weekend as Manchester United prepare to visit Goodison Park for their clash with Everton on Sunday. Hence, Luke Shaw is expected to make his much anticipated return then.
