Ian Machado Garry, formerly Ian Garry, changed his surname after his marriage to Layla Machado Garry, formerly Layla Anna-Lee. The undefeated UFC welterweight fighter recently got into an online beef with Sean Strickland, the UFC middleweight champion.
Strickland, an outspoken fighter with conservative values, criticized Garry’s marriage to his wife, who is apparently 14 years older than the undefeated Irish fighter. Furthermore, Layla is the author of a controversial book and has a son from her previous marriage to Richard Cullen, who currently serves as the performance nutritionist for Ian Garry.

It needs to be noted that Garry was ousted from the gym where Edwards trains due to his nomadic training patterns.
Nevertheless, Ian Garry is under immense pressure due to the social media attacks directed at his wife. Garry even threatened to sue UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland if “Tarzan” continued his tirade about Layla Anna-Lee. However, Strickland doubled down and still continued his tirade.

In addition, the entirety of social media is attacking Garry’s wife. Garry recently provided a response to the allegations against his wife, stating, “the satire book you all got lied about,” said “The Future.” However, the social media community did not consider that reason to be true and even claimed that Garry was being defensive.
