Lionel Messi’s wife denounces affair rumours with social media action
Recently, a Brazilian media outlet named Direto Do Miolo reported that Lionel Messi was being unfaithful to his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo. He was apparently in a secret relationship with a journalist from Argentina named Sofia Martinez, and that he was close to splitting with Antonela. Sofia had recently grown in prominence after she interviewed Messi once in the World Cup, and another time in the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
So far, the sources mentioned by the outlet have been proved as unreliable, with some non-existent. Later Cesc Fabregas’s wife Daniella Semaan who is very close to the Messi family bashed the report as false commenting on a post on Instagram, “What publication is this that has no meaning.. and has nothing right.”
Messi and his family, however seem unbothered by the scandalous rumors. They are on vacation right now to Disney World in Florida, one of the perks of playing for Inter Miami. They were seen wearing casual clothes to blend in, but the security detail with them did no allow them to go unnoticed.
Antonela shared the pictures of the vacation, posting 3 of them on her Instagram stories. It seems that she is not worried about the rumors and completely trusts in her husband.
