Gary Neville openly admits to being “bored” of watching Manchester United, forecasting defeats against Chelsea and Liverpool

Manchester United fans are having some of the worst moments of their lives watching their team play so badly, especially after having a good campaign last season. With all the controversies off the pitch and with all the injuries, United have also played poorly on the pitch.

Gary Neville, one of their most beloved legendary players, has been one of their greatest supporters since leaving the club. While he has criticized the club numerous times over the years, he has now taken a drastic step.

Gary Neville tired of watching Man Utd

Manchester United recently gave their fans some hope after winning several consecutive games. But once again, they disappointed them with another awful performance against Newcastle United in a 1-0 loss. This was after yet another disappointing 3-3 draw against Galatasaray in the Champions League. The whole situation is further worsened by the fact that the takeover bid from Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still uncertain, with fans wanting the Glazer family out.

Gary Neville, who covered the game as a pundit for the Sky Sports podcast, was one of the fans who was massively disappointed watching the game.

After the game, he said that he was tired of United and that he won’t be seeing their games anymore. “I have become tired of my own club. I don’t want to do their games anymore, I don’t want to watch their games anymore and that is the saddest indictment that you can have of your football club when you become bored of watching them, when you become tired of watching them.”

Neville did later clarify by saying that like all fans, he will eventually watch the next game against Chelsea, though he admitted the team could produce another disappointment against the Blues, fearing a big loss.

United could start with this staring lineup consisting of Andre Onana in goal, and Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw as the defenders. Meanwhile the midfield will consist of new teenage sensation Kobbie Mainoo, captain Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay. Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund will be the forwards.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino could start Chelsea with Robert Sanchez behind the goal posts, and Reece James, Axel Disasi, Benoît Badiashile, and Levi Colwill as the defensive line. Meanwhile Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo will be the midfield. Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Nicolas Jackson will be the forwards.

Both teams will fight desperately for a win, though there is a chance it could be a draw. However, goals will be expected as seen in recent days. The highly anticipated clash will take place on Wednesday night at Old Trafford, and Gary Neville will hope for a good display from his former club.
