Update on Ryan Garcia’s next fight
Ryan Garcia has shown interest to face Rolando Romero in his next fight, but the possibility of that happening in the coming months is uncertain due to Romero’s obligations to face Ohara Davies next in a mandatory challenge. Nonetheless, Garcia has persistently teased the potential matchup.
Following his defeat, Garcia made a significant change by switching trainers and now trains under Derrick James, known for coaching champions like Errol Spence Jr. and Jermell Charlo.
While his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, has mentioned targeting a bout against Manny Pacquiao, Ryan himself has presented three options for his next fight: Rolando Romero, Isaac Cruz, and Teofimo Lopez Jr.
