Martina Navratilova condemns former President Donald Trump, for what she believes is his latest attempt to undermine the 2020 election results. Navratilova expressed her dismay in a shared clip of Trump’s speech at a ‘Save America’ rally in Iowa, where he claimed he was waging an “all-out war on American democracy”.

Trump delivered a speech at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, ahead of the state’s presidential caucus. He has been holding rallies across the country to promote his ‘Save America’ movement, which stands as his mantra for his bid to become President of America in 2024 for the second time. However, it is believed that he often uses this platform to attack his political rivals, especially President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In his speech in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, Trump repeated his claims and attacked the opposition for refusing to reject the electoral votes on January 6, 2021—the day a violent mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of Biden’s victory.

“We’ve been waging an all-out war on American democracy”, Trump said.

Martina Navratilova compares Trump’s vermin comment to Mein Kampf

American billionaire Donald Trump is a candidate for the primaries of the Republican Party ahead of the 2024 United States of America Presidential Elections. Weeks ago, the former US President Trump, who served only one tenure, called his opponents parasites or vermin, attracting critics like former tennis legend Martina Navratilova to liken him to Adolf Hitler.

Donald Trump has been conducting a massive electoral campaign, presenting himself as a messiah against communists, Marxists, and radical left fascists who, according to Trump himself, live like parasites within the US borders.

In the podcast On with Kara Swisher, Navratilova explained: “Well, we are now, latest iteration is called Vermin. So you and I are vermin. So, you look up vermin in the dictionary, it’s not so nice. I mean, it’s totally echoing Mein Kampf and the rhetoric that came from fascists, including ‘press is the enemy of the people’, and he’s just magnifying it.

“I mean, the similarities, just finished reading, actually, I haven’t quite finished reading Prequel by Rachel Maddow about fascism in the 20s and 30s in America. Fascinating. America first. The similarities are off the charts. Off the charts,” She said.

These days, the tennis legend is expressing concern about Trump’s aggressive campaign. However, she has been a vocal critic of the poor treatment of women tennis players and has backed the expansion of the tennis marketing process.
