Charles Barkley, during Monday’s segment of TNT’s NBA Tip-Off, boldly stated that the Boston Celtics will win a championship this campaign. Also, on the show was Shaquille O’Neal, along with commentator and former NBA player Kenny Smith. The duo pressed Charles Barkley for his choice, and he even placed a guarantee on his prediction.
Charles Barkley said, “The Boston Celtics are gonna win the championship. Guaranteed!” Although Barkley has previously predicted that the Celtics to win the NBA championship, the history of unsuccessful NBA Finals predictions is not encouraging.
