George Russell provides sneak peek of personal life ahead of F1 resumption
Since the F1 calendar ballooned to over 20 races across each season, the summer break has been implemented to ensure time off is provided. Summer break officially began following the Belgian Grand Prix last week, allowing each driver on the grid to take some well-deserved time off with family and friends.
The Mercedes driver, George Russell, is spending his summer break with his girlfriend, Carmen Mundt. The young driver is enjoying his summer break to the fullest. Russell and his girlfriend have been captivating fans with their synchronized style and cheerful escapades in their vacation after the race at Spa.
The Briton uploaded pictures of himself trying different water sports on his holiday. In the uploaded pictures, Russell can be seen trying Hydrofoil surfboarding, a flyboard which is a water-powered jetpack, and jet-skiing. He posted the pictures with a caption saying “Really fun times trying some new things. I’ve never been very comfortable in water but have enjoyed pushing myself outside my comfort zone. A few small bruises later, we’re away!”
Russell seen enjoying season break with Daniel Ricciardo
George Russell and Daniel Ricciardo had the pleasure of bumping into each other at an music festival in Ibiza while they were taking the F1 summer break. As they are due to return to the track for pre-race practice for the Dutch Grand Prix on August 25, they had decided to take a break and spend some quality time in Spain.

Russell and Ricardo had the pleasure of being invited to the outdoor club Ushuaia Ibiza earlier this week to watch DJ Martin Garrix perform. Russell was so excited to have bumped into his friend on vacation that he posted a photo on social media with the caption, “It’s crazy to bump into you on vacation! Thank you Martin Garrix for inviting me.”
George has had a very disappointing season until now, so fans were happy to see him unwinding in the break. but never would have thought to catch him with Honey Badger and his girlfriend at a music concert.
