Randy Orton set to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa with LA Knight
On December 1st, Orton officially joined the “SmackDown” crew after contemplating between “SmackDown” and “Raw.” During this decision-making period, Paul Heyman’s team, featuring Sikoa and Uso, attacked Orton without provocation.
Knight, a potential future tag team opponent for the Bloodline, intervened to lend a hand. This match marks Orton’s return to “SmackDown” after losing the “Raw” Tag Team championships in 2022.
This is the first time Orton and LA Knight have worked together. John Cena and Knight’s rivalry with The Bloodline began at Fastlane 2023. Following their singles battle at Crown Jewel, the rivalry has taken an unexpected turn with a scheduled SmackDown matchup.
Knight and Orton made their “SmackDown” debut together this week, interestingly, avoiding confrontation. Orton intends to get revenge against The Bloodline for an injury he sustained at the stable, which kept him from riding for more than a year.
At the same time, Knight and the Bloodline have been feuding hotly; last month at Crown Jewel, Knight even challenged Roman Reigns to a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
CM Punk returns to WWE SmackDown 12/8 with a huge success
At the conclusion of PLE, Punk delivered an impressive comeback and sustained the momentum with a fantastic promo for Monday Night RAW. As he gears up for SmackDown, anticipation is building. This week’s Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place in Providence, Rhode Island, and WWE has already sold 8,604 tickets. Wrestle Tix reports that only 88 tickets remain for the event, with the venue accommodating 8,692 spectators.
