Randy Orton and LA Knight officially set to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa as CM Punk returns in WWE 12/8 SmackDown

A major event named “Tribute to the Troops” has everyone talking on SmackDown. Fans are thrilled because WWE has revealed the conclusion of a highly anticipated battle, meaning there will be more episodes to watch. It features Randy Orton, who is returning to WWE as champion, LA Knight, and The Bloodline.

Now that Viper and Punk have returned, everyone is wondering who they will face next. After Orton made hints about wanting to settle the score with The Bloodline, WWE made his desire come true. On December 8th’s SmackDown, fans have to be ready for a massive tag team bout because LA Knight is joining forces with Randy Orton.

Randy Orton set to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa with LA Knight

On December 1st, Orton officially joined the “SmackDown” crew after contemplating between “SmackDown” and “Raw.” During this decision-making period, Paul Heyman’s team, featuring Sikoa and Uso, attacked Orton without provocation.

Knight, a potential future tag team opponent for the Bloodline, intervened to lend a hand. This match marks Orton’s return to “SmackDown” after losing the “Raw” Tag Team championships in 2022.

This is the first time Orton and LA Knight have worked together. John Cena and Knight’s rivalry with The Bloodline began at Fastlane 2023. Following their singles battle at Crown Jewel, the rivalry has taken an unexpected turn with a scheduled SmackDown matchup.

Knight and Orton made their “SmackDown” debut together this week, interestingly, avoiding confrontation. Orton intends to get revenge against The Bloodline for an injury he sustained at the stable, which kept him from riding for more than a year.

At the same time, Knight and the Bloodline have been feuding hotly; last month at Crown Jewel, Knight even challenged Roman Reigns to a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

CM Punk returns to WWE SmackDown 12/8 with a huge success

At the conclusion of PLE, Punk delivered an impressive comeback and sustained the momentum with a fantastic promo for Monday Night RAW. As he gears up for SmackDown, anticipation is building. Despite not entering any feuds or choosing a brand after his two appearances, WWE continues to celebrate some major achievements.

Punk discussed his thoughts about making a comeback to WWE on the very first Monday Night RAW. His ears perked up at both the applause and the cursing. In his final remarks, he made it clear that he is solely interested in making money, not friends. Many are curious about WWE’s plans for CM Punk.

This week’s Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place in Providence, Rhode Island, and WWE has already sold 8,604 tickets. Wrestle Tix reports that only 88 tickets remain for the event, with the venue accommodating 8,692 spectators.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
