Former WWE female superstar Mickie James has responded to CM Punk’s mention of her on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The Second City Saint appeared on the show and decided to sign with the red brand.
Punk delivered a very impactful promo while mentioning his decision to stick with Monday Night Raw. Before his announcement, Punk reminisced about his early days with WWE and recalled wrestling in the same building in 2005, with Mickie James as his partner.

During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, there was an intense promo segment between CM Punk and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. As Punk returned to Cleveland, Ohio, he talked about the city’s unfriendly attitude towards him, referring to the time when he and Mickie James made their WWE debuts in 2005.
According to Punk, they were introduced as an on-screen couple and were supposed to be featured regularly, but after his dark match against Rob Begley, WWE officials were unimpressed with his performance and sent him back down to Ohio Valley Wrestling.
The Second City Saint mentioned Mickie James, reminiscing about working with her. Mickie James reacted on Twitter, expressing her happiness about being name-dropped by Punk. She referred to Punk as her brother and friend saying, “That’s my Brother. That’s my Friend. @CMPunk ♥️”
CM Punk’s Royal Rumble entry confirmed
