Claressa Shields threatens to sue anyone who shares her getting knocked down by Arturs Ahmetovs

Claress Shields, the pound-for-pound queen of female professional boxing, recently came into the headlines due to a controversial sparring footage. Shields is also an MMA fighter signed with the PFL and a two-time gold medalist at the Olympics and World Championships.

Shields’ recent statements towards male professional boxers Arturs Ahmetovs and Rolly Romero are making the headlines. It is not the first time Shields locked horns with a male professional boxer. She famously had a feud with former WBA and WBC welterweight champion, Keith Thurman.

Claressa Shields threatens to sue anyone posting her knocked down video

Arturs Ahmetovs, a Latvian professional boxer, has not competed since September of 2020. Now, his name is going viral on the internet for controversial sparring footage of Ahmetov with the ‘GWOAT’ Claressa Shields.

In the video, Ahmetov knocked down Shields with a quick left hook after Shields tried to bully Ahmetov with pressure. Since the leak of the video, Shield has been the subject of numerous social media trolls. Shields had hit back at the trollers and Ahmetov.

Shields has come forth and said that the video was from 5 years ago and Ahmetov intentionally tried to knock her out after Shields demolished Ahmetov in their earlier sparring session. Shields has now threatened to sue anybody who is posting the video.

“Anybody or Network post that sparring video from 5 years ago getting blocked and a defamation of character letter because I did not get KO’ed.”, Claressa Shields posted on her X, formerly Twitter. “I got knocked down by a bitch boy with no padding in his gloves”, Shield further added accusing Ahmetov of cheating.

Claressa Shields’ rant on Rolly Romero goes viral

Arturs Ahmetov is not the only one who had to face Claressa Shields’ verbal wrath. Rolly Romero who defeated Ahmetov via KO in their meeting inside the ring also met the verbal wrath of Shields. Romero slid into Shields’ DM’s after the sparring footage got leaked.

“He said, ‘I knocked that dude out for you, but you be, but you be hating on me.’ First of all, Rolly, with your clown ass. What, the fact that you think that I’m hating on you?”, Shields said of Rolly’s message on her Instagram. Shields did not like Rolly claiming to be better than Shields for knocking out the guy who knocked her down in sparring.

“Ain’t nobody hating on you. You just lost to a 40-year-old man, and they gave you the fucking decision for the belt. You cannot compare to me in any way, so shut your weak ass up.”, Shields blasted Rolly on her social media video. Shields, who is more accomplished, then blasted Romero for considering him comparable to her.

“I will come to TMT gym and put my and literally put my head hands on you. I will embarrass you with all that power you got. I will embarrass you, little shit.”, Claressa Shields went on to ran about Romero, even claiming to destroy Romero in a boxing match.

Shields does not think Romero is a good boxer. She believes that Shakur Stevenson, Ryan Garcia, and Devin Haney will have their way with Romero. Gervonta Davis had already knocked him out in their bout.
