McDonagh had been feuding with R-Truth for several weeks regarding his involvement and invasion during Judgement Day on the backstage of RAW episodes. On the December 18th episode of Monday Night RAW, JD McDonagh was scheduled to face R-Truth, who returned to WWE last month at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Recently, Luca Crusifino, a charismatic lawyer-turned-wrestler from NXT, publicly declared himself as McDonagh’s legal representative and posted a video message on social media, sending a strong-worded legal notice to WWE management.
Luca Crusifino sends legal notice to WWE
The drama surrounding Judgment Day took a bizarre turn this week, Luca Crusifino sending a legal notice to WWE management challenging the outcome of JD McDonagh’s recent match against R-Truth. In the match, McDonagh lost to R-Truth and was forced to leave Judgment Day due to the stipulation of the match.
The notice argues that the decision to overturn McDonagh’s apparent victory was arbitrary and unfair, raising questions about contractual obligations and potential breach of agreement. After the legal notice JD McDonagh replied to the tweet of Crusifino by adding, “The Legal Eagle has got my back!”
Whether Crusifino’s legal notice holds any actual legal weight or is purely a storyline device remains unclear. However, it has undoubtedly injected intrigue and chaos into the Judgment Day saga, leaving fans questioning who holds the cards and what lies ahead for McDonagh.
JD McDonagh out of Judgment Day after loss to R-Truth?
On December 18th, 2023, RAW witnessed a chaotic “Miracle on 34th Street Fight” between McDonagh and R-Truth. The stipulation was the loser will be removed from The Judgment Day. The match was brutal and both wrestlers used tables and chairs to attack. McDonagh had the upper hand in the match. He was trying to power slam R Truth from the top of the ring but both fell into a table and R Truth unexpectedly pinned McDonagh to win the match.
The Judgment Day is a villainous professional wrestling stable in WWE, faction led by Finn Balor and Damian Priest, who are the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. The group also consists of Rhea Ripley, the WWE Women’s Champion and the former North American Champion Dominik Mysterio.
The “Miracle on 34th Street Fight” may have brought cheers for R-Truth, but for McDonagh and Judgment Day, it delivered a bittersweet holiday gift. It is not confirmed that McDonagh has left Judgment Day, but if R-Truth joined The Judgment Day, it will be exciting to see Truth, as he is known for his mic skills and funny moments in WWE.
