LeBron James expresses indifference to Christmas Day Celtics showdown after dominating victory vs Thunder

It is no secret that Lakers star LeBron James is a man who gives his family the utmost importance. Now, with the holiday season right around the corner, it is a great opportunity for the NBA superstar to spend some quality time with the people he cherishes the most.

James has also thought of the same thing and only cares about spending some quality time with his family. He delivered a great performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder and appears to be unfazed by the upcoming Christmas Day Celtics showdown.

LeBron unfazed by Christmas Day clash with Celtics

LeBron James looked totally unfazed by the upcoming Christmas Day clash against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics and the Lakers are scheduled to face each other on Christmas Day and it looks like LeBron plans on finishing the game fast and getting back to his family to enjoy the holiday season with them.

On being asked what he thinks about the match against the Celtics on Monday, Bron said, “I can give a damn about Monday. The only thing I care about Monday is my little daughter waking up and opening her gifts.”

However, the game against the Celtics won’t be an easy one, especially if their star player Jayson Tatum plays. They are having a great season with a record of 8-2. The Celtics have outscored most of their opponents by 10.6 points this season and are in a very good position in the league.

On the other hand, the Lakers have been struggling ever since the In-Season Tournament ended and are dealing with an injury crisis. The win over the Oklahoma City Thunder may have been a turning point for their rise, but as of now, only time will tell which team comes out victorious when these two NBA powerhouses clash.

LeBron James scores 40 points in win against Oklahoma City

The Los Angeles Lakers faced the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, and the matchup provided the Lakers with a much-needed win with a final score of 129-120. LeBron James scored a season-high 40 points and helped the Lakers break their losing streak. He made five three-pointers without missing a single one, demonstrating his great precision. He had nine free-throw opportunities and made the most of them.

James collected seven rebounds and provided seven crucial assists. He was greatly supported by his wingman, Anthony Davis, who also delivered a great performance to drag the Lakers out of the dire situation they were in.

James knew the bad situation the Lakers were in and labeled their win as a desperate measure. He said, “This was a first must-win game for us this season. We were desperate for a win tonight, so desperate times call for desperate measures.”
