Eagles Jalen Hurts and Jason Kelce spread holiday cheer with heartwarming gestures

‘Tis the season to be jolly, even for NFL athletes. Players find time between their busy schedules to spend uninterrupted quality time with their families and bring in the Christmas cheer. More often than not, the players also try to give back to their community during the festive season.

Players like Jason Kelce and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles have already started to spread the Christmas cheer with the Eagles faithful by engaging in community events that have warmed the hearts of netizens across the country. Let’s find out more.

Jason Kelce and Jalen Hurts shine bright with acts of kindness

The high-flying The Philadelphia Eagles are in a great position to clinch the Lombardi Trophy this season, with every player functioning at the highest level. The side looks cohesive, and all the elaborate plays are coming off under the tutelage of Nick Sirianni.

The players are all happy and want to engage in the Christmas spirit with their faithful community. That is why Eagles starlets Jason Kelce and Jalen Hurts engaged with young Eagles supporters and gave them a taste of what it’s like to meet their stars in real life.

Some kids were pretty amazed to meet their heroes, while others were downright shocked. One kid screamed, “Are you the real Jalen Hurts??” when encountered by the star quarterback. Another kid screamed, “The only person I wanted to see was you!”

Hurts voices concerns about team’s commitment

Even amidst this wonderful run of form and dominant performances against all kinds of opposition, Jalen Hurts, who has internal concerns surrounding him, has felt the need to voice his opinions regarding the team’s commitment.

After the loss against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, Hurts took the post-game press conference to talk about what he felt about the team’s performance against a relatively weaker opposition. He said, “I’ve been talking about execution all year, being on the same page, everyone being on the same page. We didn’t execute. I don’t think we’re, we’re all, we’re committed enough. Just got to turn it around. You know, it’s a challenge that we have to embrace. Just continue to see it through.”

He continued, “Commitment. I don’t have a dictionary on me now. … I don’t know how else to say that.”
