Roman Reigns prefers iPhone 7 plus despite WWE superstardom
On last week Friday Night Smackdown, the general manager of Smackdown, Nick Aldis announced a triple threat match at Royal Rumble between AJ styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight for the number 1 contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship against Roman Reigns.
The Tribal Chief was not happy with the decision and the Bloodline made their way to the Locker room. Later on Reigns had a phone conversation with Aldis regarding the match. It was seen that Reigns was using a phone that was released in 2016. Reigns had an Iphone 7 plus which is a very old and outdated model in 2023.
This is not the first time to see a WWE star using an outdated phone. Last year Brock Lesnar was spotted using a flip phone in a Smackdown episode during a conversation with Adam Pearce, the current RAW general manager.
Roman Reigns is set to defend his title at the Royal Rumble 2024 against the winner of the triple threat match on next week’s SmackDown episode. Despite the age of the phone Reigns uses, he is still the Tribal Chief, and the WWE Universe acknowledges him as the Champion.
