The Miz was the host of last year’s Wrestlemania along with the WWE Hall Of Famer Snoop Dogg. In a recent interview, The Alistor Miz confirmed his interest in bringing the NFL legends Travis and Jason Kelce to appear on the grandest stage of all, Wrestlemania 40.
The Miz pitches WrestleMania 40 showdown with Kelce brothers
On a recent interview with the TMZ, Miz opened about the possibility of bringing Travis and Jason Kelce to the Wrestlemania 40. Miz said, “Jason Kelce, maybe he retires after this year. And what better way to go out than a match in Wrestlemania?.I think those two can do whatever they want. They have that much talent and that much work ethic.”
Miz said that he would like to see Jason Kelce in a match at Wrestlemania 40 before his retirement from sports. The Kelce’s presence will inject a fresh wave of excitement into WrestleMania 40. Miz is currently in RAW roster and feuding with Gunther for the IC Title.
The Miz has a long history in Wrestlemanias. Miz main evented the Wrestlemania 27 as the WWE Champion, where he defeated the 16 time champion John Cena to defend his title. Miz is also confirmed to appear in Wrestlemania 40 and it would be exciting if WWE plans a segement between Miz and Kelce brothers.
When will WrestleMania 40 take place?
Wrestlemania 40 will be a two-day event with two separate main events. Wrestlemania 40 is set to take place on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wrestlemania is returning to Philadelphia after 24 years, having hosted Wrestlemania 15 in 1999, which featured the iconic match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
As of now the official match card for Wrestlemania 40 is not released, it is been rumored that Roman Reigns will defend his Title in the main event of Day 2 against Cody Rhodes. These two met at last year’s Wrestlemania for the title. Rhodes can earn his opportunity to headline Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble match.
CM Punks return to WWE have increased the hype for the Wrestlemania 40, as he confirmed his plans to main event the Wrestlemania 40 and dethrone the Tribal Chief.
