Mone’s new ring gear has generated a lot of excitement and curiosity among the wrestling community as they await her decision to return to the WWE ring or her decision to make a potential debut in AEW.

Excitement swirls around her future, with fans divided on whether she’ll reclaim her WWE dominance or rule AEW as their new alpha female. While some believe in a deserved return to the squared circle and a glittering collection of championships, others imagine her tearing through the AEW ranks and establishing herself as the undisputed queen of the ring.

Former WWE writer backs Mercedes Mone to make more money at AEW

In a recent interview with The Wrestling Outlaws, Vincent Russo, an American professional wrestling writer, said, “All she’s doing is using that as a bargaining chip for AEW, and I promise you, bro, at the end of the day, she’ll get more from AEW than Charlotte got from WWE.” [22:22–22:34]

He also said, “First of all, I’m glad for Charlotte. If she’s happy there and that’s where she wants to be, and she got the money she wanted, great. It’s great for her. I think she’s a great performer, she’s believable. I’ve always been a fan of hers”.

Charlotte recently signed a multi-year contract with the WWE. Russo praised Flair for her performance in the ring and said Flair deserved the contract. Currently, Flair is out of action in WWE due to a major injury that happened last month.
