Last month, wrestling fans and gamers got a sneak peek of Samoa Joe as “King Shark” in the trailer for the upcoming video game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This game is the latest addition to the Batman: Arkham series, but with a focus on the Suicide Squad instead of Batman.
The story revolves around the Squad’s mission to take down the Justice League, who have been brainwashed by the villainous alien invader Brainiac. Recently, Warner Brothers Games released a new trailer featuring King Shark, narrated by Amanda Waller, the head of the Suicide Squad.
Joe might have landed his biggest video game role to date. However, it is not his first gaming role. He previously voiced the “Beast” in Telltale’s Game of Thrones video game in 2014, which was based on the popular show and book series. Samoa Joe has also lent his voice to characters in Dota 2 (2013) and Dota Underlords (2020).

We’re definitely doing some cross-promotion with them. The game is coming out at the end of January. We have some big things coming up with that. Warner Brothers, it’s crazy. They finally have a champion they can show to the world with pride and respect,” said Samoa Joe.
