The Spanish driver has stated that he has no intention of retiring anytime soon, even when his current contract with the team expires, ready to defy the odds faced by other drivers despite his age. There is also new speculation circulating throughout the paddock, suggesting that Aston Martin has offered Alonso a new contract until the end of the 2025 season.

Alonso had an incredible start this season, securing five podiums in the first six Grand Prix. Out of the four races, there is Bahrain, where the Spanish driver effortlessly overtook Lewis Hamilton; Monaco, where his constant caution cost him a meaningful victory; Canada, where he held back Hamilton for a second; and finally, Brazil, where he surpassed the Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez, to finish third at the race.
