The English forward Jadon Sancho’s spell of uncertainty at Old Trafford is at last approaching its conclusion as Manchester United is closing in on a loan deal for the player to make a return to his former Bundesliga side, rejoining Borussia Dortmund.

The Englishman is set to spend the next six months in Germany on loan from Manchester United. As per reports, the Bundesliga club has agreed to pay a small fee of £3.5 million towards Sancho’s wages, while the Red Devils are obliged to cover the rest of his £300,000-per-week salary.
The yellow and black have also agreed to acquire him on a permanent transfer for a £26 million fee following the completion of the loan in the summer. In contrast, at Manchester United, the forward’s numbers witnessed a substantial drop, managing only 12 goals and 6 assists in a total of 82 games over three seasons. Notably, alongside his loss of form, regular injuries and fitness issues played a major role in the collapse of his Old Trafford stay.
