Former WWE star once KO’ed Chris Jericho on his own cruise ship in 2020 during Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager

When it comes to professional wrestling, Chris Jericho is never one to sit idly by. He recently faced some challenges in an online dispute with AEW’s legal staff, reviving his storied past and placing him firmly back in the spotlight.

The notion that Chris Jericho lives his life like a genuine rock star is more than just a façade. One of these moments was recently brought to light by an incident on his trip, although it did not unfold as planned.

MVP and Chris Jericho involved in a heated altercation

Chris Jericho has lately been in the news for his discussion on non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and the AEW Handbook on Christmas Day with Jim Cornette and CM Punk’s attorney, Stephen P. New. Last week on “Cornette’s Drive Thru” show, Brian Last brought up one of the Chris Jericho tales that had emerged.

Some claim that in January 2020, at a Rock and Wrestle-themed party on Jericho’s cruise, former WWE champion MVP knocked out Chris Jericho. During their altercation, MVP punched Jericho, causing him to lose consciousness. Reportedly, they had another confrontation in a hotel lobby a year or two later.

According to some insiders, there was a “heated exchange” in the hotel lobby before Jericho swiftly went to the elevator, stating, “I don’t fight jobbers.” Rumor has it that MVP knocked out the wrestling legend during Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager: Part Deux in January 2020, and the event was tweeted about by the Wrestle Ops. However, recently, after challenging AEW’s legal representative for comment on non-disclosure agreements, Chris Jericho unexpectedly found himself in the middle of a controversy.

What is Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager?

Through his company, “Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager,” Chris Jericho hosts cruises that include both wrestling and musical performances. The first voyage in the autumn of 2018 generated excitement that is still going strong. People who like both professional wrestling and music will love it.

The trip is very popular, and rooms sell out fast. Fozzy, a band from Jericho, is one of many hard rock, blues, and metal acts that perform on the Ship of Jericho. In 2024, the cruise will take place from January 26th to the 30th, and it will include a stellar roster of AEW performers.

As a happy coincidence, Jericho will be returning to Cozumel, Mexico, the site of the 2020 cruise, for the 2024 Rock N’ Wrestling Rager later this month. On a trip from Miami to Cozumel, fans will get to see AEW artists, including some of their emerging stars, compete while listening to music.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
