Logan Paul is one of the most prominent YouTubers turned wrestlers who joined WWE and became the United States Champion. He made his WWE debut on April 2, 2021, as a guest of Sami Zayn, who had a match scheduled with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37.
Since then, Paul and Owens started a rivalry after Kevin attacked Logan with a Stunner at WrestleMania 2021. In the upcoming Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024, ‘KO’ is set up for a United States Championship match against Logan Paul.
Logan Paul goes on a furious rant about Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens emerged victorious from the U.S. Title Tournament and will soon face Logan Paul in the Royal Rumble. In a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan was interviewing Rubi Rose, during which his co-host, Mike Majlak, teased him for being knocked out by a punch from Kevin Owens. Later, Mike introduced a figurine of Kevin and used it to taunt the United States champ, who was clearly annoyed and threw the figurine out of the room.
During his latest appearance on Friday Night SmackDown Paul confronted KO who defeated Austin Theory, Carmelo Hayes and finally Santos Escobar to claim the U.S Championship tournament victory. As he made his way inside the ring Kevin knocked Logan with a single punch.
Both Logan and Kevin are old rivals who had a feud in 2021 when Owens attacked him with his finisher after the champ went on to celebrate KO’s victory over Sami Zayn. The Youtuber recently shared on his social media how much damage Owens caused after the brutal interaction. The picture was shared on Instagram where he wrote âHe actually got me,” implying that Kevin’s attack was sudden and dangerous.
Logan Paul aims to become WWE champ
Logan Paul has been a member of WWE for more than 2 years, and the wrestler has his priorities straight. Since the beginning, he had great ambitions and never shied away from sharing them in his podcast or different interviews.
During an interview with ESPN’s Mike Coppinger in April 2023, just after signing his multi-year contract with WWE, Maverick revealed his future aim with WWE, saying, “Being the hyper-ambitious person that I am, I’m going for a belt. I wouldn’t have signed this contract if I didn’t think that I was capable of getting a WWE belt. I think it’d be the coolest thing ever. I’d love to have it on my rĂ©sumĂ©, and I’d love to show every kid around the world who watches WWE that you can achieve anything.”
After he won the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio in Crown Jewel, Logan said to The Daily Mail that one day he wished to be the face of WWE and prove his worth to the wrestling industry. Paul even shared his dream to attain the Undisputed Universal Championship under his belt and be the envy of every wrestler out there.
Kevin Owens and Logan Paul will meet on January 27 at Royal Rumble, and fans are excited for the show that may finally conclude the rivalry that started years ago between both men.
