The three-time Ballon d’Or winner has now claimed he could have had a more successful career than Cristiano Ronaldo if injuries had not forced him to retire at 28. “Cristiano Ronaldo is physically stronger than me, although I would have liked to see if I got to play until I was 38. I think I would have been even better,” he said.
