Next month, in Australia, WWE will host WWE Elimination Chamber, the next international event on the route to WrestleMania. Australian WWE superstar Grayson Waller recently paid a visit to Perth, his hometown, in the days leading up to the event.
However, LA Knight figured out a cunning strategy to ruin Waller’s homecoming. As a WWE Superstar, Waller is devoted to upholding the industry’s history of the “heel” character, which led to a memorable and heated disagreement on Australian television.
LA Knight and Grayson Waller appear on Australian talk show
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which is well-known for its presence all over the world, has been giving international events a higher priority by broadcasting specials from places such as Saudi Arabia, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and recently Australia.
To promote the upcoming event, WWE sent talents Grayson Waller and LA Knight to Australia. They made an exciting appearance on Channel 7’s Sunrise, the most popular morning news program in Australia. This initiative is part of WWE’s global marketing plan.
Australia was abuzz with anticipation for the Elimination Chamber after the show’s hosts made an out-of-the-ordinary request that LA Knight do a signature move, setting the stage for a hilarious exchange with Grayson Waller.
Grayson Waller furious at Australian talk show hosts
While being interviewed on an intense breakfast show in Australia, Grayson Waller voiced his frustration and aired his feelings of being insulted. While Waller and LA Knight were being promoted for the forthcoming Elimination Chamber: Perth event, they were requested to demonstrate their distinctive finishing moves. The Australian icon accepted the challenge, despite Knight’s reluctance during the process.
However, things took an unexpected turn when the hosts suggested doing a WWE move on their floor manager. This caused Waller to become irritated because he placed a high priority on defending the honor of the wrestling industry.
Aussie superstar said, “I don’t think you understand, because if I go over there we’re gonna have the police here because I’m not gonna give you some fake punch. I’m gonna punch you straight in the jaw. The disrespect that you give me when you act like this isn’t real. Don’t act tough. You guys disrespect us, are you kidding me?”
The LA Knights loved the exciting show, and Waller later explained that he wasn’t angry with the hosts, despite his earlier annoyance. Have you watched the program? How much did you like the host-guest argument? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
