Aaron Rodgers enjoys playful banter with coach amidst ex-teammate’s subtle dig

The Green Bay Packers appear ready to make the most of Jordan Love’s athleticism after parting ways with their 18-year veteran player Aaron Rodgers before this season. Jordan knew he had big shoes to fill and he did not disappoint during the first preseason game.

Love seems to have been accepted as the undisputed No. 1 quarterback for the Packers’ upcoming season by pretty much the entire team. Aarons’ friend David Bakhtiari also appears to have joined the list of Jordan’s admirers, taking a sly jab at Aaron.

Aaron Rodgers embraces youthful spirit in playful coach interaction

In a blockbuster trade, Aaron kicked off a new chapter of his football career with the Jets, a team filled with a flock of young talents. Hence, soon after boarding the boat in the Big Apple, the 39-year-old seemingly embraced his role as a veteran advisor-cum-player for the Jets.

Throughout the entire camp, A-Rod was observed engaging with the players constantly while learning about their routines, motivating them for the forthcoming season, and establishing objectives to win the championship this year.

Although Aaron didn’t participate in voluntary workouts during his final few seasons in Green Bay, he proactively appears to have dedicated the offseason to the Jets. The four-time MVP has already improved the atmosphere around the Jets’ offense by maintaining a positive outlook.

Rodgers takes a humorous jab about his speed

Similar to how Rodgers affected the Jets team, many of his former teammates felt that after he left, the Packers’ offense picked up speed. When asked how much the Packers offense could evolve without him during an interview with ESPN NFL expert Jeremy Fowler on Friday, his longtime buddy Bakhtiari took an indirect shot at the vet.

“Because Aaron is slow as s–t. Now we actually have an athletic quarterback who can move around.”

Though previously, Bakhtiari acknowledged that he was missing the former Packers player, he uttered that with Love at the helm, the training camp became the most interesting one for him.

“The f—ing best camp I’ve ever had,” he told Fowler.
