The Green Bay Packers’ former veteran Aaron Rodgers seems to be doing all the things he can to keep his new in-laws happy. Since biding adieu to the Packers, the 39-year-old quarterback has time and time again garnered praise from the New York Jets players and front office members owing to his actions both on and off the field.
The Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett worked with Rodgers for several years in Green Bay. Hence, he knows better the caliber of the Packers’ four-time MVP than anyone else from the new team. Aaron too is continuing to amaze Gang Green’s OC in the training camps. Besides earning on-field feats, the Jets new signal-caller got a surprise gift from his cornerback Sauce Gardner.
Rodgers’ impressive pass leaves Jets’ OC speechless
A-Rod sent shockwaves throughout Florham Park with his phenomenal laser pass to Corey Davis in the training camp today. After Davis made the catch, Gang Green’s squad was seemingly on cloud nine as the whole training camp just went wild with applause.

Nevertheless, the Jets OC probably got more amped up. He ran all the way up to Davis and jumped into the air, in an attempt to chest bump him. Hackett’s reaction was hard to ignore for any Jets fans and even the team’s Twitter page shared a snap of the moment with applause for his enthusiasm.

The former Denver Broncos coach was fired from the team following his first season after his squad went 4-11 and Rodgers too witnessed a diminishing performance in the last year. The upcoming season will be a huge test for the duo.
Sauce Gardner gives Aaron Rodgers a surprise gift
Gardner surprised Rodgers after Saturdayâs open training camp practice by bequeathing a one-of-a-kind custom green and white No. 8 chain. He clasped the chain around the neck of the Jets QB1 himself. The 10-time Pro-Bowler appeared to be enjoying the adorable moment and stood smiling with his arms crossed.
“So youâre my jewelerâs favorite quarterback. You know what I mean, Al the Jeweler. So he wanted to cook up something special for you. He brought the idea to me, I said I think it would be a good idea”, Gardner told Aaron.

Nevertheless, the surprise was not a sudden plan of New Yorkâs CB. He posted a cryptic tweet back in April saying he has something special for Rodgers from âAl the Jeweler.”

The duo developed camaraderie during the offseason and were even spotted enjoying an NBA playoff game together. The custom No. 8 chain is like a token of their adorable off-field bond.
