AEW Worlds End: date, time, venue, updated match card

AEW experienced tremendous success in 2023 and is poised to conclude the year with the highly anticipated Worlds End pay-per-view event. AEW usually doesn’t end the year with a pay-per-view, but that changes this week with the debut of Worlds End.

AEW Worlds End is the highly anticipated final event of 2023 and serves as the first production by AEW. The event will showcase multiple matches featuring superstars from ongoing feuds, plots, and storylines that unfold on AEW’s weekly television shows, Dynamite and Collision, along with their YouTube series, Dark and Elevation.

AEW Worlds End date, time, venue

AEW announced the Worlds End pay per view in October, and it will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, New York. AEW Worlds End is scheduled to commence at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, followed by a pre-show at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. AEW Worlds End match card

The main event of AEW Worlds End will be the AEW World Championship between MJF, who claims to be the best in the world, and Samoa Joe. MJF and Joe first faced each other for the AEW World Championship at the AEW Grand Slam, in which MJF retained his title by cheating. With MJF not being advertised for next AEW event, this match has increased the expectation among the AEW fans.

Christian Cage is set to defend his title against Adam Copeland, who made his AEW debut earlier this year. They both share a long history of friendship and rivalry in WWE No Disqualification matches. The match was made official on the December 24 episode of AEW Collision after Copeland challenged Cage to a rematch and added the No DQ stipulation.

The TBS Championship is on the line, with Julia Hart defending her title against Abadon. Julia Hart won the title at AEW Full Gear in a three-way match against Kris Statlander and Skye Blue. Toni Storm is set to defend the AEW Women’s Championship against Riho in a singles match. The match was announced by AEW President Tony Khan on the December 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.

An eight-man tag team match between Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Sting, and Darby Allin against Ricky Starks, Big Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Hook is set for the event. The match was set up after a brawl between the two sides on the December 27 episode of AEW Dynamite

Additionally, AEW Worlds End will feature the final of the AEW Continental Classic tournament between Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston to determine the first AEW Triple Crown Champion.

MJF is also set to reveal his contract details and future plans in AEW, after the show, as his contract is set to expire in January 2022. The World’s End is going to be the most hyped AEW pay-per-view of the year, with lots of expectations and surprises.
