The Las Vegas Raiders are staying atop the Denver Broncos with a 1-3 mark this season. Besides their poor on-field performance, one of the major setbacks for the franchise has been their injury-plagued squad.
Fortunately, the Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been cleared from the concussion protocol on Friday and holds no injury designation on the roster. The week saw many of the team’s veteran’s game status being hanging in the air ahead of their next matchup against the Green Bay Packers, and unfortunately, their wide receiver Davante Adams is one of them.
Davante Adams’ status for Monday night’s game remains unclear
Adams has not taken part in the Raiders practice sessions on Thursday and Friday, albeit he has been able to participate in limited practice on Saturday. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the franchise has placed a questionable game tag on the veteran for their upcoming game on Monday night.

WR Davante Adams practiced in a limited role Saturday due to a shoulder injury and is questionable for Monday night.
Raiders’ CB Nate Hobbs has been ruled out for Monday night…
The ongoing excitement regarding the on-field reunion between Davante and his former team, Green Bay, is seemingly not going to happen. After being drafted by the Packers in 2014, the WR stayed with them till 2022, and has been one of their greatest weapons by scoring 73 receiving touchdowns, 669 receptions, 8121 receiving yards while averaging 70.0 yards per game.
The 30-year-old amassed 33 receptions for 397 receiving yards along with three touchdowns throughout four games this season donning Las Vegas’ jersey.
Davante Adams overcomes shoulder woes to finish game vs Chargers
During the Raiders match against the Los Angeles Chargers, Adams reached back on a snap while targeting his trailing shoulder. However, as the vet crossed the field, he was hit by the rival’s cornerback Michael Davis, leading him to go through heavy pain on the field. He was forced to leave the match following the incident.
Though the former Fresno State star said the injury didn’t look good, he once again appeared on the ground in the third quarter, and finished the campaign. However, Las Vegas coach Josh McDaniels said Adams had been doing better.
Meanwhile, the Raiders cornerback Jakorian Bennett (hamstring, shoulder) has also been marked questionable along with his fellow star David Long (ankle). Besides them, cornerback Nate Hobbs will be out of the squad due to ankle injury, and they might make a move to bring weapons from the practice squad to ensure they have required healthy players in that position.
