The Kansas City Chiefs fans might hate the Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase for his “Pat who” comment directed at the Chiefs veteran quarterback Patrick Mahomes, albeit any true football lover can not hate the WR when the debate is about displaying phenomenal performance athleticism on the field.
Chase has been entertaining the sports fan with his back-to-back success, with his latest recognition coming after earning an elite rating in Madden 24. Amid the accomplishment, the youngster decided to win the hearts of fans by fulfilling one of his little fans who is currently fighting leukemia.
Ja’Marr Chase receives elite Madden 24 rating
Fans might not witness ‘Madden 24’ until August 18, albeit its ratings are getting revealed. EA Sports would be working to release the ratings of the best players at each position of the NFL throughout the week. Cincinnati’s 23-year-old WR ranks sixth overall amongst all the wide receivers in the new Madden ratings based on “speed, catch, and route running marks”, having an overall 94-rated card.
The Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson leads the ranking with a 99 overall rated card, followed by Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, and Chase at the top 6 spots.
Chase delivers heartwarming moment for Leukemia patient
Brixton Woods, a 6-year-old from Texas, has long been a fan of Ja’Marr. He has been staying in hospital for six months and his parents decorated his room with the colors and logos of the Cincinnati Bengals, his favorite team in national football.
His mom Ashley Wood said people used to ask Brixton if he were a fan of Bengals QB Joe Burrow after visiting his room. He used to say that he likes Burrow, albeit the Bengals WR is his favorite.
“People would always come in his room, and they would always be like, ‘Oh, you’re a Bengals fan.’ And, they would always be like, ‘So, you like Joe Burrow then, right?’ And he was like, ‘No, he’s cool, but my favorite player is Ja’Marr Chase.”
ESPN granted Brix’s wish in their “My Wish” series on July 17 by letting him meet Chase as well as dance the WR’s signature dance “Griddy” with him. The kid was head over heels after meeting his favorite star and said “I got to see Ja’Marr Chase. I got to score a touchdown on their field. I got to see him practice.”
Besides Brix, three other children got to see their favorite players: Josh Allen, Mike Trout, and Dustin Poirier.
With a new NFL season approaching fast, the Bengals fans can embrace themselves to witness another incredible season, keeping Chase at the helm.
