The Undertaker has been one of the most decorated and celebrated wrestlers in the history of WWE. He has millions of fans all around the world. The Master of Pain is also a WWE Hall of Famer. Sadly, he retired from the WWE after Survivor Series 2020 due to his growing age.
However, according to some recent reports, it is rumored that the Deadman will appear on next week’s episode of WWE NXT along with other WWE superstars to make the show a grand one.
Undertaker seemingly confirmed for NXT appearance
Next Tuesday, WWE NXT is going to have a blockbuster show as many of the big names from the main roster of the Stamford-based promotion are going to appear. The show will be loaded with star appearances. Up until now, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman, Asuka, and Becky Lynch have been confirmed to appear.
Surprisingly, The Undertaker is also reportedly scheduled to appear on the next episode of WWE NXT. According to PWInsider, The Undertaker is currently in Orlando and he has been at the WWE Performance Center. Also, the WWE NXT advertisement for next week’s big episode has the sound of The Master of Pain’s gong. This indicates that he might appear on next week’s episode of NXT.
However, there is no official announcement from WWE regarding his appearance. But as WWE teased his theme music, there is a slim chance of The Undertaker to appear on NXT.
The reason behind WWE NXT’s star-studded lineup
During the last episode of WWE NXT, multiple announcements were made about what to expect on the next episode. Loaded star appearances were announced. Firstly, it was revealed that Asuka will fight Roxanne Perez on NXT. Afterwards, it was revealed that Carmelo Hayes would face Bron Breakker in a match with John Cena in his corner for that match. Also, Cody Rhodes would be making an appearance to make a major announcement.
Fans were surprised by seeing such a line-up for the third brand of WWE. However, there is plausible reason behind it. The reason for such star struck show is the moving of AEW Dynamite to Tuesday night this week due to the MLB Playoffs. AEW is calling this show “Title Tuesday”. The name of the show is justified as there will be multiple title matches. The big matches of the show include the AEW debut match of Adam Copeland formerly known as Edge in WWE. Adam will fight against Luchasaurus.
Despite it being just a one-day face-off with a rival promotion show, still WWE is pulling out the best cards to not lose to its rival even for once.
