This incident has only added to the ongoing drama, as they prepare for their upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
Not withstanding their recent woes on and off the pitch, the Red Devils have recently received an injury boost with Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, and Sofiyan Amrabat returning to training with the team ahead of the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
United players involved in a heated altercation after loss to Brighton
Out of 15 obtainable points, Manchester United have only realized six this season. Erik Ten Hag’s side have had three losses in five matches, and their recent loss was at Old Trafford against Brighton, courtesy of strikes from Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross, and Joao Pedro. It has been a season of injuries for several first-team Manchester United players. The latest to join the list is Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who will be out for weeks after suffering a hamstring injury and being taken out in the Brighton game.
However, the likes of Mason Mount and Kobbie Minoo, who have been away for a while now, may return to the lineup, as they’ve been pictured training with the team today, ahead of the clash against Bayern Munich.
As reported by the Mirror, Sofyan Amrabat, who picked up a minor injury on his International duty in Morocco, has also been seen training privately ahead of tomorrow’s Champion’s League clash.
Notwithstanding the good improvements in the United team, Bayern Munich remains a formidable opponent. They have also had their share of good news, with Kingsley Coman and Joshua Kimmich reportedly back from injury.
Thomas Tuchel stressed: “Joshua had an inflamed tendon, and we didn’t want to take any risk with him,” said Tuchel. “The medical team clearly said he could only play 60 minutes, and that’s why we brought him off in the 60th minute.”
