This instance was also noting out of the ordinary when he tweeted out that after the win against the Miami Dolphins, Patrick Mahomes now has more playoff wins than Aaron Rodgers in his entire career.

Wright said, “Patrick Mahomes, who is 28 years old and is in his 6th year as a starter, now has more playoff wins than Aaron Rodgers,” comparing the two quarterbacks in contrasting stages of their careers. Rodgers, who could not feature for the Jets this entire season after tearing his ACL at the beginning of the season, would surely have something to say about this comparison.
This tweet generated a lot of comments from Rodgers’ faithful, as they looked to point out that Patrick Mahomes still hasn’t won more away playoff games than Rodgers. One comment read, “Come back to me when Mahomes wins a road playoff game,” while another quipped, “Always drawing the easiest teams in the playoffs. Must be nice.”

Mahomes this season has been a bit off-color so far, but that didn’t stop him from producing the goods when his team needed it the most with a scintillating display over the Miami Dolphins in their NFL Wild Card game. Even after the game, the 28-year-old talisman was at his jovial best as he hugged his Dolphins counterpart Tua Tagovailoa.
