They are also unconvinced of his abilities and believe there are better players in their current squad in his position. It is said that Fati won’t play for them again, and they are now looking for possible destinations to sell him to. Once thought to be their next great player, the recent emergence of Lamine Yamal has caused his usefulness to fade away.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is also aware of this and is already looking for options. There is interest from Saudi clubs for the player, but the player may not want such a move. Several La Liga clubs, such as Sevilla and Valencia, are also interested in bringing Fati to their teams. Mendes is also trying to keep him in England, with Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers a possible destination.
Bojan addresses Ansu Fati’s disappointing loan spell at Brighton
Barcelona”s Bojan Krkic, who is in charge of monitoring all the young players on loan, has decided to defend Ansu Fati. After some criticism from coach Roberto De Zerbi, he decided to point out that Fati is still very young.
He said, “Ansu is still a young player, it seems like he has been around for twenty years but he is young. He has suffered significant injuries, has played in the first team, still belongs to the club and is playing in the Premier League.”
He further added that he knows Fati can still bounce back, “Now he is in a club where a coach, no matter how many statements he makes, knows what a player Ansu is, he knows what he can give him.”
But the truth is, Fati has had a horrendous season so far. He has played 24 games for Brighton and has only managed to rack up 4 goals and an assist. He did miss many games due to horrible injuries, which have affected his momentum, but time is running out for him.
Ansu Fati will have a chance to prove himself when Brighton next plays against Burnley on Saturday.
