Bayley discusses her WrestleMania dream ahead of 5th Royal Rumble appearance

WWE superstar Bayley is determined to prolong her WWE career, and she has refuted rumors of her departure that have been circulating for the last few weeks as several WWE superstars’ contracts expired. She is currently focused on achieving her objectives, which include winning the Royal Rumble in 2024 and securing a singles match at WrestleMania 40.

Bayley has won championship titles from all three brands of WWE (NXT, Raw, and SmackDown), the Women’s Tag Team Championship, and the Money in the Bank briefcase. Recently, it was reported that Bayley had signed a new contract with WWE.

In a recent interview with “Cageside Seats,” the former WWE Women’s Champion emphasized that she still has a lot of goals that she wants to achieve in WWE.

“There’s so much I wanna do for the wrestling world. Of course, there are other places that I can do that and give what I have, but to me, the dream from when I was 10 years old was to do [‘this’ several times over] and all with WWE. I haven’t done all those things. I don’t wanna walk away without doing the things that I said I was gonna do, or at least giving 150% of me trying to get those things done,” said Bayley.

Bayley expressed her excitement for the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble 2024 and made it clear that her goal was to win the legendary battle royal. She hopes that winning the match will help her earn a chance to compete in a singles match at WrestleMania. She also noted that reaching the point of pointing at the WrestleMania sign is a dream come true for many wrestlers.

“Everybody knows that when you win the Royal Rumble, you get to point at the sign and the fireworks go off. That’s the stuff you dream about. I’m excited to feel that. I wanna feel that and I wanna get that singles match at WrestleMania,” said Bayley.

Bayley’s record at Royal Rumble

In 2018, she participated in the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match at No. 29, eliminating one woman but couldn’t secure the victory. In the following year, she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match again at No. 27, which lasted for approximately 15 minutes, eliminated three women, and was eventually eliminated.

In 2020, Bayley successfully defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans. In 2021, she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match at No. 1, stayed in the match for around 30 minutes, and eliminated one woman but was eliminated by Bianca Belair.
