Bayley is scheduled to face off against the current WWE Women’s Champion, Iyo Sky, at WrestleMania 40. A few weeks ago, Dakota Kai betrayed ‘The Role Model’ during a tag team match against the Kabuki Warriors, and then the new Damage CTRL decimated the Royal Rumble winner.
Since the betrayal, Bayley has vowed to take revenge on her foes in the future. Recently, she attended the NBA games, where she was honored with a special introduction at the Milwaukee Bucks game. Fans were surprised by this development, as Bayley got her big moment even before her match.
Bayley gets a special shoutout during the Bucks vs Nets
Bayley surprised the sports world when she visited the NBA clash between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets. During the segment, the WWE star received a big surprise as she was given a special shoutout while the Bucks vs. Nets game was taking place.
As she is set to appear in WrestleMania 40, the 34-year-old star was introduced as the Royal Rumble 2024 winner, indirectly indicating her set path to ‘Road to WrestleMania’ in April.
She excited the fans, saying, “Milwaukee, thank you for having me. That’s right I did win the 2024 Royal Rumble alright and I’m so excited to be here in this building tomorrow night, sold out might I add. Thank you, Milwaukee.”
She later posted on Twitter, writing, “Thank you for hosting da Role Model, @NBA @Bucks! Way to get that win tonight. #Smackdown will be SOLD OUT in this very arena tomorrow night. Thank you, Milwaukee!!”
As a wrestler, the former Damage CTRL leader was great at her craft but her new success created more enemies than friends. She was hit behind the back by her faction members and this sudden abandonment from her former teammates has left the superstar in a fragile state. Still, fans are rooting for Bayley to destroy Iyo Sky in her upcoming match.
Bayley leaves a two-word message for Damage CTRL members
Bayley shared her true feelings about being betrayed while speaking with Kayla Braxton. She said, “When I was in my most vulnerable state. She manipulated me, she tricked me and I fell for it. I’m paying for it, and everything I built is backfiring, and I’m all alone. Damage CTRL made the biggest mistake of their life, by underestimating me. I can adapt. I built Damage CTRL with all my heart, and I will do everything in my soul to break it.”
The master of ‘Bayley-to-Belly’ recently posted on Twitter a picture of herself hugging Dakota Kai alongside Iyo Sky, with the caption “Damaged Goods.” The cryptic post could have various interpretations; some fans even speculated that it hinted at them being ‘Damaged’ instead of being in ‘Control’.
