Becky Lynch sends 4-word message after winning the Women’s World Championship title on WWE RAW

Back in September 2016, Becky Lynch locked in the “Dis-arm-her” on Carmella during the six-pack challenge match at WWE Backlash. With Carmella taping out, Becky won the inaugural WWE Women’s World Championship, her first world title in the company.

Fast-forward to April 22, 2024, Becky Lynch wins her seventh World title by eliminating Liv Morgan on WWE RAW. After Rhea Ripley relinquished the championship due to injury, a battle royal for Monday night was announced. Becky Lynch this time made her opportunity count after failing to capture the gold at WrestleMania 40. Following the match, “The Man” was seen celebrating with the crowd and then held up a sign that read, “Women Run The WWE,” along with her newly won hardware.

Becky Lynch, who has been a part of the “Women’s Revolution” since making her main roster debut, remained vocal about giving female competitors more opportunities. She even shared a customary backstage moment with Triple H, signaling all is well between the two after a temporary Cold War months prior.

With the title secured, it is high time for some questions to be answered and one of them is about Becky’s future with the company.

Becky Lynch’s future with WWE

Ahead of Monday night RAW, Finn Balor broke the news of extending his stay with the Stamford-based company. His fellow Irish native, Becky, is yet to declare anything such as her contract status hangs in the balance.

According to PWInsider, WWE is desperate to extend the 37-year-old’s contract. Becky Lynch, who has been with the company since 2013, recently spoke to Ariel Helwani and discussed how hard it would be for her to perform elsewhere.

With the contract rumors swirling around, former WCW talent, Disco Inferno recently proposed that Tony Khan should offer $10 million to both Seth Rollins and Becky to take them to AEW, but with the title win on Monday night, it now seems a tougher task than before.

Since WWE Backlash is next month in France, Becky’s first title challenger can be decided next week on RAW with Liv Morgan looking the most likely candidate to be the opponent for Big Time Becks.
