Betting lines suggest the match lineup for WrestleMania 40 on each night

WrestleMania 40, the next big pay-per-view event of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), is eagerly anticipated. Scheduled for April, the event promises several exciting matches, with reports indicating even more match cards being prepared for the Philadelphia show at Lincoln Financial Field.

‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ will feature the year’s biggest tag team match, including Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes facing off against the Bloodline faction. Recently, online betting lines hinted at additional matches being set up, with the current lineup already comprising 9 matches.

The “biggest tag team” makes placement at Wrestlemania 40

The upcoming event of Wrestlemania 40 will see some big matches in recent memory. This April, the ‘Show of Shows’ has a tag team match set up between ‘The Brahma Bull’ Rock & ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns vs ‘The Architect’ Seth Rollins & ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes.

The Bloodline faction started targeting The American Nightmare after he won the Royal Rumble 2024 event. Seth Rollins then joined the fray after Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson interfered on Cody’s path to ‘Finish the Story’.

A few weeks back, WWE’s chief content officer and head of creative, Triple H shared the upcoming “biggest tag team” of 2024. ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ has expressed multiple times that this year WrestleMania will be different from the others. This year 2 fights for the Bloodline storyline is scheduled, which are main-event-worthy, and fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite superstar triumph.

Interestingly, this is not the only tag team match set for WM 40. Two weeks back, both SmackDown & RAW General Manager announced a 6-pack tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and this is the first-ever 6-pack ladder match in WrestleMania.

The WWE disclose nine matchups for Wrestlemania 40

WWE has been going all out for the imminent nine matchups for Wrestlemania 40. Right now, only nine match cards are selected. The matches for the first night include AJ Styles vs LA Knight, Logan Paul (c) vs Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens (United States Championship match), Rhea Ripley(c) vs Becky Lynch (Women’s World Championship match), Iyo Sky(c) vs Bayley (Women’s Championship match), Roman Reigns and The Rock vs Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

According to the betting lines, the second night will see Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre in action, and the main event will see Cody Rhodes facing off against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The match cards for the second night include Seth Rollins(c) vs Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship match), Gunther(c) vs Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Championship Match), Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso, Roman Reigns(c) vs Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Championship match).

WWE fans are highly anticipating future matches for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania event.
