Big E opens up about his wrestling future: “I may never wrestle again”
It had been more than two years since Big E competed in his last wrestling match. Two years of scans have failed to alleviate the symptoms of his match-related neck injury. He has mended his C1 vertebra, but it hasn’t grown any new bone, and the scans revealed no major changes. So, he’s now faced with the reality that he may never wrestle again.
His most recent neck scans were the focus of his tweets, which he posted on his Twitter account. He penned, “Two year neck scans are in. Things are unchanged. My C1 has healed fibrously but has not formed new bone. I’m not medically cleared and truthfully, I may never be cleared.”
