In the Bills’ big win against the Dolphins, White sustained an injury while covering Tyreek Hill on a fourth-and-1 play in the last few seconds of the third quarter. He was unable to get up and the Buffalo’s players signaled for the team’s medical staff to assist.
The veteran was subsequently attended to by athletic trainers before being carted off to the locker room. He sensed that something terrible had occurred and expressed his frustration by throwing his helmet. White’s presence in the Bills‘ secondary has been instrumental in their recent success as he has allowed eight receptions on 15 targets along with two touchdowns, and two passes defensed while recording only 3.2 yards per attempt this season, per Next Gen Stats.
