Noted MMA journalist Ariel Helwani confirmed, via David Feldman, the owner of BKFC, that ex-UFC fighter Mike Perry will be facing fellow ex-UFC fighter Thiago Alves in the main event of BKFC KnuckleMania 4 in Los Angeles on April 27.
Perry is the reigning King of Violence champion at BKFC, while Alves is the inaugural BKFC middleweight champion. This is not the first time that Perry will be fighting at KnuckleMania, as he already headlined BKFC KnuckleMania 2 in his BKFC debut against Julian Lane. Interestingly, Lane was also whom Alves fought on his BKFC debut.
American influencer Bryce Hall will also be on the card after his BKFC debut that saw him defeat Gee Perez via TKO due to a doctor stoppage at BKFC 48. Hall has been in the news after he called out Sean Strickland, the former UFC middleweight champion.
As the promotion is known to stack up its events, BKFC KnuckleMania 4 is also expected to have big names in the undercard. The naming of the event is a homage to the premier professional wrestling event of WWE, ‘WrestleMania’.
