Bryan Danielson shares idea of heaven standing “in the spring bleeding”

Former WWE great Bryan Danielson is currently forging his own path. Intense fights were a hallmark of his ring performances. He recently shared his unusual viewpoint on wrestling, saying that when he bleeds for the spectators in the ring, he finds his own heaven.

Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay will square off in a “dream match” tonight at AEW Dynasty. There is widespread agreement that both men are on the cusp of becoming legendary wrestlers. In spite of all the buzz surrounding that major fight, the underdog Bunkhouse Brawl last night was the show-stopper due to Danielson’s impressive grit as he shed blood throughout the bout.

So, his choice to wrestle so fiercely the day before meeting Ospreay was questioned by several. According to Fightful, while answering those questions, American Dragon said, “Some people when they think of heaven, they think of streets of gold, they think of 40 virgins, that’s not me, but spirit is a part of this. When I die, my heaven will be standing in the spring bleeding in front of all of you people right here in Peoria, Illinois!”

Despite bleeding in last night’s AEW Collision, the 42-year-old star is ready to throw away powerhouse Will Ospreay in tonight’s show, who issued an epic counterattack against Claudio Castagnoli in his recent match. Though Danielson’s schedule seems quite hectic, fans know that the creative flexibility he has at AEW makes it all worthwhile.

Insider reveals Bryan Danielson’s impact on AEW Booking

The AEW community is abuzz with anticipation for tonight’s AEW Dynasty match featuring Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay.  Despite the high-stakes match, American Dragon joined Claudio Castagnoli in last night’s Collision for a brutal Bunkhouse Brawl, demonstrating just how busy he is at the moment. Wrestling insider Dave Meltzer questions the prescience of such a difficult schedule but agrees that Danielson controls his AEW bookings.

He said, “Danielson isn’t doing it unless it’s Danielson’s idea to do it,” Meltzer said. “When it comes to Danielson, you gotta defer to Danielson. He may not always be right but he’s the one making the calls. I mean, Tony’s making the final calls, but Danielson isn’t doing anything he doesn’t want to do.”

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
