Despite only playing in five games for Chicago last year, 6-foot-5 big Terry Taylor averaged 4 points and 1.6 rebounds in his limited action which led to them re-signing him. In the G League, though, with the Windy City Bulls, he has shown his worth to the team. Taylor’s efforts in this role were outstanding, as seen by his averages of 20 pts, 12.3 rebs and 1.9 asts per game in seven contests.

With the Indiana Pacers, Taylor had a strong rookie season, appearing in all 33 games and averaging 9.6 pts and 5.2 rebs in just 21 minutes per game. A 24-point, 16-rebound effort against Orlando and two games in a row of 21 pts and 14 rebs were shining examples of his ability.
Taylor’s role and playing time with the team are still up in the air owing to the team’s set rotation. Nonetheless, he’s important because of his rim-running prowess and versatility in defense. Taylor’s playing time may be restricted if Chicago continue their excellent play and make the playoffs. Taylor may get the opportunity he’s been waiting for if the club struggles and decides to make personnel changes.
Current Bulls roster ahead of 2023-24 season
